I began my career as a humanist photographer in July 2007 in Paris. At that time, street style photography didn’t exist in France, and Fashion Week wasn’t a public spectacle. There were almost no photographers around because there was no money to be made. Yet, I took the leap, setting myself the boldest mission: to humanize fashion. Since I knew no one in the industry, the challenge thrilled me as much as it terrified me.

Everything changed on October 4, 2008. Outside the John Galliano show, I ran into someone I had photographed on the street. She loved her pictures so much that she invited me to shoot backstage at the show. Once inside, I wondered if I was dreaming. Everything was so beautiful, and the people—including the models—were incredibly kind to me. I did my best to stay out of the way, and I believe everyone appreciated my non-intrusive, documentary-style approach.

By 2017, after capturing 800,000 photos, I felt the need to explore new horizons to keep my creativity alive. I studied organic farming, novel and screenplay writing, wrote a novel, and created and wrote three TV series. Life is an endless and boundless journey.

Now, in 2025, with Hollywood in crisis and the world changing so rapidly, I feel a renewed desire to photograph the backstage of fashion and major events once again—to uncover stories worth telling and emotions worth sharing. The story begins anew!
