Before becoming a photographer, I worked in television in France. For three years, I produced interview segments featuring celebrities. To "humanize" them, I had them perform a short sketch at the end of each report. And we had a blast. What I realized is that behind every celebrity status, there is always a person—far more interesting to know and appreciate than their public image alone.

That’s why, when I became a humanist photographer in the fashion industry, I never valued or admired models for their beauty, but for their personality. Every interaction I had with them had one goal: to reveal their character and kindness. Because the beauty we see on the outside always comes from within.
